    • Eddy Says:

I have to tell you, Kelton makes me uncomfortable. He reminds me too much of myself. Not saying much about my self-esteem, eh? What’s the deal with that backpack anyway? What’s he got in there? My bet’s on a severed head. Or a security blanket.

    • Claire Says:

God, I miss Tess. I hope we get to see her again.

On a completely ‘nother note, Kelton’s fishy face in the two silent panels is unreasonably hilarious. Heart. (:
What does he have in that backpack? Questions to ponder. A severed head would probably, like, drip… unless there was something soaking up the gore….

    • MrThumbtack Says:

Man, Aaron I feel so bad for all your characters, they’re so dysfunctional….except for Viscious (so far)

    • Kuro Says:

I hope Tess decides to show up soon. I don’t think Kelton’s tiny backbone can take much more.

      Great page again.

    • Stiggz'N'Sonez Says:

Man, every single page is a cliffhanger!

      ^_^

Can’t wait for the next installment…

    • Pixy Says:

Hahaha that last line cracked me up!

And in response to an earlier comment, I’d actually consider Vicious the MOST dysfunctional of the lot. She just takes herself way too seriously for my taste…but I love her character. I can’t wait to see her and Sera together for more than just one conversation.

    • Candy Says:

      That first panel reminds me of me. I hope Sera’s better at starting over than I was >_>;

Also, I don’t know whether to laugh at or feel sorry for Tess.

    • Shannon M. Says:

Wow, Tess and Sera still aren’t talking? I would have assumed everything’d be okay within two months…that’s a long goddamn time to be pissed. Though Tess trying to break into Sera’s house is, in my opinion, a hilarious thought.

    • John Says:

“Then she sprained her ankle trying to break into your house”.

I can imagine Tess doing that.

Man, I can’t wait to see what Tess is going to do when you introduce her.

    • ImagineTheEnding Says:

Damn, I didn’t think Serenity could be so mean. I mean these are her FRIENDS…it’s cold not to talk to them. I mean it’s not like they’re going with her to England. *sigh*.

Oh look et me I am getting into a comic book. Anyway, nice paneling. You are getting better at it.

Oh yeah and I totally drew Harley again with that hammer just for you. I’ll totally give you a link if you make a new journal soon.

-To some comments before hand. Serenity and her friends have dysfunctional lives? If these guys have hard lives, people are going to HATE my comic. I am so evil.

    • Relenz's Drinking buddy Says:

I would like to take this opportunity to observe that, while looking across the span of Mr. A’s work, that he is undoubtedly one of the greatest masters of Knuckle Rendering on the face of the earth.

I mean, just look at those beauties in panel 2! It’s clear that this is a perfectionist, a man who hones his craft.

    • Chris Says:

gyaaaaahh!!! get out of my life dude, i’ve actually had this conversation with someone, just, you know, mod out all magickery.
please make it be thursday already!!

    • jon Says:

so are you gonna publish this onto slave labor again?

      this is really gooood………..

      especially the new non-muppet sera.

can you still draw the old one tho?

    • Andrew R Says:

      Tess is so Tsundere :P

Its cute that she felt bad and (maybe) tried to appologize and got hurt for it.

    • MrThumbtack Says:

Heh, to clarify my earlier comment:
I just noticed how their personality problems interweave in such a way that the whole situation makes me go “aaaagh” (in my head…i don’t normally scream when I read the comic).

I agree with you ImagineTheEnding, Sera is being a jerk…but its in keeping with her character. She’s still paralyzed…her life is still stagnant.

I wonder if she’ll realize that or if someone will point it out to her.

    • Chato Says:

I can sort of understand what Sera’s doing. She doesn’t want to feel like she’ll be missing anyone anytime soon, now that she’s moving away and starting anew. She’ll distance herself from everyone she know that still reminds her past self.

      She may regret this.

    • essrose Says:

Jon: Yep, Slave Labor will be publishing the book next year. I have no idea if I can still draw Muppet Sera anymore, though… I didn’t even realize I was drawing her differently until people told me so. She just kind of looks like Sera to me.

Relenz (or his drinking buddy): FINALLY. A little knuckle recognition! Now,iIf only the Eisner Award committee would take my advice and add a Best Knuckle Rendering category…
