just a very HIGHLY overdue and late thot here, but it occurs to me…..

– in “Ask Vicious”, Sera said witches don’t reproduce. Stilletta *seems* to be a witch, and is specifically called such in the character intros for the current storyline.

– Zoe is Maryanne’s mom, at least according to Sara and her dad and everyone else who knew Zoe for those particular 9 months.

granted, a witch could *fake* pregnancy, but unless there were some shenanigans in the delivery room, or the MA and all her 7-ish years are just a highly realistly ecto-construct or something, or Sera was just *wrong* about the reproduction thing and V (who ought to know, what with being brought up by Dame Glaurie Thorpe and all) didn’t correct her, once again it’s no dice. sorry, Station!

Okay, about the “in-the-same-room” subject, why would two antaganists be in the same room with a minor protagonist character if they don’t even know the other exists? You’ve got to be logical here, Station. Sure, the whole “leading-down-a-path” thing is pretty good plot-wise, but Zoe doesn’t even know about Stilletta.
IF they were the same person, that’d be an awesome twist. Quit bringing it up and upsetting everyone. When it comes, just say, “I TOLD YOU SO!”

Station, the main problem with your theory it that Zoe is already an anti-stereotype. Stepmothers are expected to be wicked. Zoe is apparently not, so if it were to turn out that it’s all a sham, it would convey the message that fairy-tale stereotypes must be true and you’re a fool to think there might be exceptions. I know enough about storytelling traditions to recognize this, and I’m certain Aaron does too. He would not create such a story unless he _wanted_ to convey the above message. And it is abundantly clear from his other work that he absolutely does _not_ want to do so. Therefore, unless Aaron’s entire career is a sham to make us vulnerable to his nasty message*, then Zoe is absolutely not Stiletta.

BTW, I happen to concur with Joseph’s comment and yet have nothing but contempt for economists and the assumption that their pseudo-scientific work has any value whatsoever. I don’t know if it’s relevent, take it as you will.

*…. which, come to think of it, would make Good Aaron/Evil Aaron an almost perfect parrallel for Zoe/Stilletta….. surely Evil Aaron would be clever enough not to reveal his secret identity so blatantly, wouldn’t it? Unless we _are_ living in a comic book reality, of course…..

I have brought all three books that you made or you were the artist for. Pretty cool stuff. Yes, I can see that I have poor grammer skills. When you have finished with this new volume, do you have any plans to turn it into a paperbook or as an e-book or perhaps both?

I like how the first volume seems to set the stage for the second volume. That you did not tie off plot lines too quickly just because the volume is coming to a close. The characters seem to be realistic. Too bad you don’t show anything of the dad, I know he is dead but for someone that seems to be quite important to Rose there doesn’t seem to be any family pictures of him around.

The SSI seem scary but at the same time they do seem too bad. Rivethead though seems like a lost little kid that has been molded into something horrible. This scarsdale lady is lot scarier than the SSI.

Honestly, I find the whole Zoe/Stiletta controversy pointless. Stiletta has almost no air time, so there’s no solid basis on which to get to know her motivations or way of acting, so we’ll never know. Following that circular logic, Stiletta could be Zoe in disguise. Or Tess in disguise. Or a cute kitten in disguise. Or a lamppost in disguise. How are we to know, if we don’t know the “real” Stiletta to draw a comparison?

Oh, and by the way, the “Zoe smokes, Skars smokes, they never appear together, ergo…”

Guys. Srsly. If you can’t think good arguments for your points, just admit it. At least you won’t look stupid.
