      She covers her eyes with her goggles, then her goggles with her hands… poor Sera. :)

      All I can think of, reading these last few pages, is how much courage it must be taking Sera to talk about ANY of this crazy shit.

      akshly Sera’s kinda lucky…. at least when she finally builds up the courage to talk, she’s got someone she can trust who will listen and take it really seriously. And that hiding behind the goggles thing eerily reminds me of Merrick; something tells me he’s got more to hide though.

      I’ve seen Sera with her locket several times in this volume; I’d been assuming that she just didn’t always wear it. There goes that theory…. but is she getting it back or making a new one? And why *collect* identical stolen lockets? It’s typical bully-type behavior, but something deeper’s going on here.

      And I’ll second Mr. Levy on “Valentine’s Day”. Down with Hallmark Holidays! We’ve already got a great one in February anyways. (Go groundhogs! May someone, someday learn to read your predictions correctly!)

      As other people have noted, the goggles over the eyes are a stroke of genius. A show of helplessness two-fold.

      Maybe Stillete was one of sera’s dreams that she conjured (like an evil self, an inner demon) and she steals the locket because she thinks its hers???

      Poor Sera, I really feel for her.
      There’s a depth of pathos conveyed through Sera’s facial expressions and body language in this page that really moves me.
