I agree with Squeek. I jsut feel like….Stilletta IS real. It seems to simple for her to be just a conjuring of Sera’s.

I re-read the last few panels just to look at the spoon. XD This really is one of those comics where you can read the series 10 times and see something new each round.

y’know, i have a hard time taking Sera’s theory seriously, except for a few things….. the way Skarz kept insisting the sketchbook just “showed up” on her desk? what if she *wasn’t* lying!?

an’ then there’s Sera’s cell phone…. it sure *looks* like the one Stilletta gave her – but why would she ever *keep* that one? unless it was already hers…..

…. does her “dark side” maybe want her to give up on cutesy-pie things shaped like hearts?

perhaps the Monsters of Matobo aren’t directly connected, but more like another example of similar phenomena to (eventually) make things clearer? and ooh, scary thot here, what if ol’ Willemina *was* a witch and couldn’t *really* have kids (like Sera said in AskV), but THOUGHT she could, and accidently fulfilled her own wish? (thus the “murdered” son)…. but then how would his *wife* be pregnant….. unless *that’s* a conjuration *too*, or maybe even his *wife* was a conjuration, special-made to be perfect for her imaginary son, untill Willemina realized something was wrong?

(or even something simple, like when the baby was born it *obviously* wasn’t his, and that somehow indirectly triggered Willemina to realize what she’d done?)

(come to think of it, Skarz did use a lot of “birth”-related metaphors when she talked about ‘Hed’s creations……)
