It is indeed Wednesday! Like I said at the bottom of the last page, I’m heading down to San Diego this afternoon, so this is a special early edition. (I just KNOW I’d forget to post if I left it until tonight.)

y’know…i’ll bet if you stuck a naruto headband on Tess and had her work yer booth at san diego con with those two broke-be-arms, she’d be a real help to you. after all, that Tess can be *such* a sweetheart when she’s in a crowded room. (^.~)
Merrick is smiling because he’s bringing Sera in. No use of force, nice and quiet. Big brownie points for him with the SSI. But like many institutions he may have very little say as to what happens to Sera after she’s in the facility. One could assume they have ways of restraining her physically, she can “fly” but probably not through objects like walls and doors. Or there’s the drug thing keep her stupified. But perhaps she unstupify herself. And presumably she could witch any lock open. But there is the possibility the SSI has some “force field” that they think can restrain her. Like they thought they could capture the ecto-tess. 23 pages left. So we could have a Sera at the SSI sequence or perhaps something will come up and she’ll never actually get there. hmmm
@tomh: she floated *thru* her own window w/o lifting a finger a few pages ago, i doubt anything like reinforced concrete would slow her down much…… but they’ve probably got *something*. hope it’s not something *nasty*…… or worse, something that’ll piss off her “dark side”, if that’s what it is…….

Tess is giving me a new definition of tough working with both arms broken wow! Sera going to twin Pine. makes me wonder if she could end up like Andrew McGee in Stephen Kings Firestarter who was kept locked up and druged to the point of his power being unusable.

there are times though that institutions help. even if he can’t be trusted, he might be able to provide the resources for her to fix that shit. She has a natural distrust of him so she’ll be expecting him to fuck her over, thus she’s safe, cuz it won’t be a surprise. one of the smartest things to do when you have big shit happening in your life is to recognize when the problem is too big to handle on your own. even if the people you dislike ar the only ones who can help. It’s usually worth it.

I, um. I remain unconvinced that Stilletta is actually a manifestation of Sera’s unconscious. For instance does that mean that Sera unconsciously manifested the Curse that the “weird girl” (presumed Stilletta) handed out in part 2 of “Working Through the Negativity”? Meaning that part of her own brain had come up with this complex scheme to connect her with the Rivet Hed show? That’s, uh. That’s intense.

@ Atrian: for a real creepout, compare the panels on p 20 of issue 2 (on the roof w/ the keyboard guy) and on p. 35 here…… got ‘em posted in the “WUV is VERBOTEN” thread in the BGN forum, they look pretty scary together…..
