Squeek: but if she’s from Sera’s *sub*concious, she’d be acting on Sera’s repressed impulses, ie: hurting all the SSI guys instead of just throwing em outta her house.

From reading the paper comics and up to this point i’d say either rivethead made the blond witch or it’s his manager. “reconsider” being on the mirror and Sera actually being injured that time, and she has been houning her at odd interavals since that little incident. Perhaps the touring dates for the show? just my little opinion though.
I’m half expecting her (Stilleta) to vanish as quick as she appeared and just royally screw with Sera’s head in the next panel. Awesome imagery though.
Now that’s brilliant. I actually had to go back a page just to make sure I didn’t miss something it was so surprising.
And as far as Sera creating Stilleta, well…it fits so well I’m suspicious. Was that the plan all along?

Aaron, have you by chance ever played Fatal Frame 2? Cause that’s the first thing I thought of when I saw this page. Not that that’s a bad thing, it’s one of my most favorite video games ever!

Ok… i love this comic since the beggining… alot has changed… and this page is just amazing if u ask me… noone was expecting this for sure… so i give u a 5 in 5 for the creativity and the suspense u created ^^ hope u keep this up ^^

@squeek: I agree, even Sera’s “dark side” wouldn’t want to kill people (scare or occasionally hurt them, maybe), but she might well consider redecorating with realistic ectoplasmic mockups of dead SSI stormtroopers….
so if Sera subconsciously *did* make Big Green Tess & the Goblin Tessies, why did *they* kill? Sometimes extreme stress makes people lash out in ways they usually wouldn’t….. still not sure about that tho.
an’ i’ve been wondering about Stilletta’s padlock “belt buckle”, and how it kinda reminds me of a chastity belt….. somehow it seems to fit better now that Sera’s new theory’s been revealed…..
(i liked the paint-man much better when he was just menacing Merrick….)
BUT……… i kinda wonder if, in the next page, Merrick & the rest mightn’t rush in & find Sera’s room looking totally normal…….

from the last pane of the previous comic Merrick should be just about right behind her. So he should see Stilleta and her handy work. Are all those SSI guys Merrick’s backup? Or were they sent by someone else at SSI? Has anyone noticed there is a resembelence between Stilleta and Zoe!!!! And why am I even speculating with 40 min to comic 99.
