      Wow 100 pages or 4/5 of the way through and I’m still wait on pins and neadles for each new page. Poor Merrick is truely having a bad day. I hope he don’t bleed to death as he was just getting interesting. I wonder if it is valentine’s plan to blackmail sera into becoming his apprentice, after daddys gone now.

      @Nightsong: Not unless Valentine wants him to!

      daddy’s been gone since about a year after Valentine “invited” Sera….. if that was his plan, he would have done something by now. I think the whole “it’s good to listen to your father” bit was totally sincere, but of course a guy like him has more than one idea in mind for our li’l witchie….

      The only answer he gave was that Stilletta wasn’t conjured by Sera; he didn’t say *he’d* conjured her. Guy like that’s always got talent on the payroll…. Stilletta and her origin are still up in the air (literally and figuratively, in that order) ;)
