      So, consuming witch flesh, say a heart of another witch will let you have their ‘witchy powers’ added to your own in this ‘Alexovich discovered’ verse? Maybe it’s just tasty or she is filled with that much hate that consuming the subject of the aforementioned hate mind, body, and soul may be the only way to rid it from their world? Frighting.

      We’ve seen before that Sera is quite capable of defending herself when avoidance is no longer an option, but I wonder though if she’s capable of actually killing someone. I don’t think Stiletta’s the type to compromise. This is a terrible time for a cliffhanger!

      From Stilleta’s point of view, ink, it is pretty charmed in comparison. I mean, TWO offers to work with great celebrities, and people who follow her like a cult. Most problems she has are personal, but hey you knwo what they say about the grass being greener.

      (Not to be mean, but Merrick DID say he came alone, so shame on him for lying.)

      @Thallie: I *wish* I had nightmares like that!

      just a guess, but i ’spect the point here isn’t beating Stilletta…. it’s proving that Valentine can’t get away with his above-it-all, amoral attitude. Somehow, Sera’s gotta take them *both* down, probably *with* a little help from her friends! And maybe even some sorta-foes too…. or even a little leftover power from “ol’ Charlie”?

      And something tells me psycho-killer vs. our little Freddie-fan WITH family and friends in the house may not be much of a contest. ‘Specially since Stilletta’s only 17. (which means, of course, that she’ll be neutralized *without* killing her…..)

      Stiletta is a home-grown hissy-fit?? Sorry you had to live in the dark your whole life, but you know, so did Perseus, and he became a great hero. Not a psycho.
      I don’t think Sera’s life is that charmed. I mean, I’d say Vicious has a much more glamourous life. In fact, many people- witch or not, have it great.
      Also, this is a perfect time for Vicious to ring in!

      Vicious may be a closer target Alpha, but she’d likely wreck Stiletta in under a minute. An experienced, confident witch, or one who’s almost an amateur, which seems like a better target? Besides, Creepy-Mc-Swirly-Eye gets to pull a Darth Sidious, either Stiletta wins and gets stronger, or Sera comes out on top which means he might be able to grab a more talented apprentice instead of wasting his time with an inferior witch.

      Ooooh Merrick’s getting his arm back. Or some sort of arm. Um. Good? Maybe? I’m inclined to thoroughly distrust gifts from Valentine at this point ….

      Honestly I hope friends and family don’t get involved in this quarrel, even to back Sera up, considering what happened to Tess last time. This will be solved by Sera’s action — I think it’s one of those “extraordinary people” things; really, she’s the only one that’s capable. She’ll get to dispel the Maddie-monster’s lingering accusation for all time…

      Is anyone else looking forward to a Vicious-Valentine face-off? ;)

      Valentine’s comment about Vicious not being there to help makes me wonder if Ms Vicious is in a situation that has her tied up so to speak. Perhaps one of of Mr V’s orchestration.
      tomorrows page could be epic or more run up and/or back story, hmmm…
