      @Slinker How would this be the end of the comic? Why? What dramatic or narrative sense would that make? There’s also eight pages left.

      Was Sera just stabbed in the gut? Well, considering what Stilleta and her have survived, I can’t imagine that would actually kill her. Put her in horrible pain, yes, but I don’t think she’d die from it.

      No fair, she didn’t have a sword.
      But maybe her witchy magic can bend reality so that the sword is really through Stillettas’s heart. Sort of Tyler-Durden-esque. Or bend her body around it and liquify. You can’t stab to cut through a liquid.

      waaiit it says in 122 parts, and I thought this was only like part 3 or something is it really almost over? omg that would succkkk besides i was hoping for this long epic story to end up in book form one day

      @Doxy have you read from Page 1? There’s a lot going on here. Also, AA said explicitly this will be published in book form after it’s finished it’s web debut.

      For a girl with a sharp metal rod apparently sticking through her, Seranity seems quite cabable of fighting back judging from the fact Stilletta’s the one being used as a crash pad…

      the Durden thing woulda worked if Stilletta really *was* Sera’s conjuration…. *except* that Sera woulda had to stab *herself*……

      but i’m thinkin’ it’s still more “ouch” than really hurt….. she can recover if she really wants to, and she’s got good reasons. Still, *ouch!*

      (dead-tree-based form to put on shelves is s’posed to happen in October)

      hmm, it seems they’ve landed in the woods, are the trolls going to be more friendly to Sera or Stilleta or will they stand by passively unsure who to obey

      Maybe Serenity is just “no” ing because that is the first major injury she has sustained and it’s freaking her out? She’s a witch! She can totally heal that!

      Oo, I just got a creepy thought, I bet this fight is eerily quiet, except for the sounds of impact. like just two huge parade-balloon esque caricatures of Sera and Stiletta up in the sky, punching back and fourth in otherwise relative silence..

      I dunno if this is as bad as everyone’s saying….if you look at the last pannel, it kind of looks like Sera got the upper hand in the fall. She’s more or less on top of Stiletta.

      Aaron – I started reading Fables like 6 months ago but am outrageously poor. To the point that I JUST got issue 10 yesterday, the issue I’ve been DYING for to read your piece. Absolutely loved it. Wonderful art in your segment :)

      Everyone on here who hasn’t should totally read Fables, not just to support Aaron but also just for the incredible story and art.

      It’s almost 1:30 Eastern Time here and the Thursday page won’t load until after I get up again, so I’m going to wildly speculate. If I were in Sera’s shoes right “now,” I’d call in some trolls. She’s the native witch, blondie’s an intruder. They could keep her busy, and maybe help sort her out.

      We shall see.

      Your segment was fantastic! It was so light-hearted and had more humor than other segments….even though it was also people preparing for war. But that’s so your style! Cute and funny about deadly serious issues.
