Valentine’s remark last panel about having to die in a small cave was not just snide but inacurate. Blondie could have let herself be captured after all captivity or not she’d have still been alive. Thus dying was not neccesary.

& they’re *TROLLS*, not ogres. Ogres are only useful as lumpy playgrounds. Besides, it’s kind of a personal matter

& yeah, Stubby’s just being a politician. Though the SSI may have pressured him to reopen the plaza quickly. Maybe they just wanted their big “round two” and weren’t willing to wait.

(weren’t even willing to wait for the fight to *get* there either, apparently!)

hmm, I don’t think the reincarnation thing works that simple. Valentine said “the very next child born” who could be anywhere. And instead of one of the original coven reincarnating into that body, it could just be that that child, with it’s own unique soul, gets witchy powers. I mean blue hair and multiple ear rings aside, could you see Sera in the 1700′s???
We’ll have to see what Vol 3 brings.

I’m gonna agree with the “serenity claiming the town” theory. That’s the very first thing that jumped to mind for me. I’m deeeeefinitely excited for what the next two pages are gonna reveal though, and I’m already giddy for the third volume!

@Alpha You… have a point there. We don’t know who lead the SSI TO the cave. He turned up as Stilette subtracted herself from the equation of life…

And since the Maddie creation, I’m somewhat assuming, is serenity’s indirect making, who’s to say more ecto-tures won’t crawl out of the cave and attack people?

Though Serenity COULD technically get the Ogres to keep ‘em in…

Interestingly, just realised that the ten paragraph down either suggets the mayor DIDN’T reopen the square or he’s shrugging off the responsibilty for it, as politicans often do. The sentence after does lean to the first idea…

Though this may be a slight poke to the whole “Seranity claiming the town” part.
