That statement is kinda scary. I expect Sera to start freaking out soon.
Also is Tess a worm? There’s a lot of stuff in this drawing, I could stare at it for days.
Perhaps “Dream Tess” is a Lamia? http://tinyurl.com/czau63o

If Willow can like a Lamia, no reason this with can’t. Although I kinda of think it is more that ahe is “oozing” out of the ectoplasmic mass. I could be wrong, though.
Ahhh… excellent synchronicity with the last words from Volume 1. Hand well played, sir. I’ve actually noticed a lot of philosophical Jung in your writing as the series has grown in the past years. May I ask a question, Mr. Alexovich? When you started Serenity Rose, did you know how it would end? Or are you still discovering and adapting that? It occurs to me that the webcomic format allows one to perhaps revisit and amend their scripts, even when, as you may, have an outline for an entire volume, or perhaps, the entire series. If one maps the dramatic structure of your story, I find we are still in the building stage, and as of yet still far from the climax, lest you are using a Shyamalan approach, which I find unlikely; and even though the comic is spookycute, I see the story structure as being far removed from that resembling horror fiction script structure. As one grows philosophically, and as artists, one’s work evolves. Is the story of Sera Rose you are writing today the same story you set out to write over 10 years ago?
What, no Moz?
Patience, boy racer!
and all the bathing beauties look very similar to Mady.
what would our dreams look like if they could manifest physically.
I have to admit I would find it immensely uncomfortable to have my crush be able to see the physical manifestation of my subconscious. Heck, the stuff in there that I am aware of, I wouldn’t even want to see myself, let alone the stuff buried so deep I don’t know it is there. Let us hope Maddy is respectful about this. This kind of look inside Sera’s mind is extremely intimate.
Sera claims she is uncertain of her sexual orientation, but her sexually-tinged dream manifestations seem to be exclusively slanted toward women, There are no hunky nude men in the cave. And from the number of them that appear, I would surmise those dreams are frequent.
Also, it seems that Merrick has joined the lot and there is an image of Zoe smoking, which she only found out about last chapter. Does that mean her dreams are still forming in the cave even though she hasn’t been sleeping there? Interesting.
I agree, these are “new dreams” that are manifesting in the cave. Maddy must have “scouted” this already, to see if there were dream-creatures still there, eh? She was away for a long time, and presumably the SSI “cleaned out” the cavern.
Those “sirens” sure look yummy! And a lot like Maddy…
Which explains the “dream of me” question perfectly!
Poor Sera! I wouldn’t want my dates peeking at my sub-conscious either!
is it just me or has the number of nude ladies increased significantly increased since the last time we were here?
Good call, folks who predicted where we are. Seems like Maddy has been spying on Sera, though it may have originally been unintentional. It could be that she didn’t know where she has at until after she either saw reps of herself, or heard about the witch fight on the news. If not… ….kinda creepy Maddy. Kinda creepy…
I can understand Maddy checking out the cave. With her previous knowledge of the place, and the revelation that it’s full of manifestations of Sera’s dreams and nightmares, it would be very tempting to go and have a look.
I don’t think I could resist the temptation.
also, who is inside the ghost thing on the bottom right hand side of all the ceiling dream creatures? an Easter egg of some kind that I just don’t recognize (much like the Calvin and Hobbes in the background of a previous dream cave page), or is that someone from the story? It looks much less ethereal than the rest of the creatures in the cave.
Is that Agatha and Kelton in the pool? Also, in Working Through the Negativity, it was said that the pages were supposed to be the comic that Sera is writing instead of a diary. Is that still the case?
I guess it sort of is… I’ve just thought that Sera cared less to comment the events herself and just stick to showing what is going on. This book starts very “diary” when Sera explains the consert with V, but otherwise sticks to just writing time and date.
Something I personally prefer because if the first book had one flaw it is that it has a lot of text explaining the world or just Seras random thoughts. Which could be funny, but also ended up being very “tell don’t show” rather than “show don’t tell”. Removing some of that makes me feel more engaged with the story and the setting.
Not Kelton, you can see the top of the “side boob”, As always, the pool is populated exclusively by ladies.
Is she going to fight the St. Puft Marshmallow Man in there? a Dragon? the Devil? Something big is about to happen aaaaaa!
Actually, it was the *Stay* Puft Marshmallow Man.
And I would never fight Sera. Make out with her? Sure! Fight her? No way, she’s too adorable! Besides, she’d win with her witchy powers.
Actually, i think it needs to be the Saint Puffed Marshmellow Man from now on, forever preaching the gospel of Gozer…
oh my god, wait, hold on. Is this the end of the book?? D: because all the other books ended with the same line.
well, the first book (WTTN) ended with “welcome home.” but the second book (GC) ended with, “Your education, my dear, begins tomorrow at 6 A.M.!”…but the final dialogue spoken at the end of both books was spoken by Vicious. and she’s not in the cave (well, non-ectoplasmically speaking)… (O.o;)
that said, this does fell like the end of the chapter…tune in on Tuesday for the exciting answer! \(^o^)/
“feel”…not “fell”. バカ… (O.o;)
Oh, I just meant close to the end of the second book. Page 119. :3
Grrrrrrr how do I make this work
