A third may be coming... I'm doing my rounds on the blogs yesterday (well, only 2, enough for doing a line I guess) and I read something about... a political PIRATE PARTY.

As some of you might know I have been studing animation for a year now. And done a few very short movies with some from my class. I have one puppetanimation movie that we did within 4 weeks. That I'm very proud of but can't show you guys yet. Cause we're not ready to drop it on youtube yet. (It's hard to show it anywhere else if we do.)

But at least I can show this little piece we have done. For a girl that has a little cloth company in paris:

I'm the one one that has done must of the first part of it untill 00:40 when that guy gets water on his head. Thats done by a friend.

This was done in a short time of work. My trip to Strutgart is to be blamed for that. So It's not any really special animations on my part. But I kinda like how the whole thing came together anyway :)

After this summer I will start with a project that will be 100% animated by me. Wooooo!

wow, that was incredibly deep, man. I loved the random acts of comic relief like the random ninja in the sweatshop.

Thanks a lot guys! I've had my fears that people wouldn't understand whats happning in that movie. But then, maybe that makes people watch a commercial even more just to get it. :)

Heres a comic:

I'm not sure yet if I should give this one color or not. I kinda like how it looks now. The black and white adds to the feeling I want. But colors are fun! So I might make an attempt later. :)

its a thought. like i have previously said in other threads, i don't like color, unless it is really prettyful like non sequitor.

For me it really depends on how good the guy doing the colors are. It's area that can take as much time as anything else. And It's really something I wanna become better at. :)

well, if you do color, i recommend not using any black outlines. im not saying to not use outlines, just no black. no black whatsoever. my art teachers in the past always said this. at first, i didn't pay it no mind, but when i saw the work of Willey Miller with Non Sequitor, i was just blown away. it really makes a difference.

experiment. it helps.

but this piece in particular doesn't need any color due to the mood. actually, it would be interesting if you gradually added color from the first panel to the last, considering how the mood changes from the beginning to to the end.
