i started a new thread so that we can talk about BREAK YOUR STUPID HEART as we read it, page by page. also, what we think might be coming on the next page, etc etc

i thought it was really fun and interesting when we did it for volume 2, so why not.

who else was totally excited by the opener "i am a sexy little thing"??

also, really stoked that vicious came into it so early in the book.

now, if only that plot thing would get going...

I'm kinda surprised it took so long for V to organize a show at the Darkroom... didn't Sera's Dear Diaries Are Stupid entry say July? And the goings-on in Goodbye Crestfallen were January IIRC. Wonder what's been happening all this time...? Has the trouble with the SSI been resolved, or are they dragging feet? What lovely tricks has V taught her young protege? And why isn't Kelton in the crowd? (SURELY he's not backstage with Spazz having OPENED for V...?)

Indeed alphy, thats quite a few months inbetween. My guess Sera has had quite a few good months with Tess, and Vicious. And Sera has been busy training witchiness. BUT WHERE IS KELTON? Is he and Tess an it?!?

i LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of a Vicious Whispers fake tour t-shirt!! i would definitely buy me some of that! it would be extra cool because it would look like a tour shirt but really be an inside "joke" for fans in the know

and yeah, having to wait a whole week in between pages is quite grueling indeed.

Another thing I have ponder about after translating the book (Which makes you read it way more than whats really healthy.) is why did Silietta want Sera to join Rivet hed and Skarsdyle?

Sera seemed to think that the point was to "corrupt" her. Might have been more to it tho... Mr. A *did* let slip that some unpleasant things would be happening to Mr. Hed in volume three, maybe Stiletta knew something about that?

Not that I dislike it, Its neat. But kinda waiting for something "OMG whats happning?!?". The second book did this nicly with the flashback of SSI attacking. Now its just sera smiling and vicious having consert. But hey, its just a few pages so far. But damnit I wanna see MOAR!!!

I wonder if during all those virtual months that went by V was just waiting for Tess to finish convalescing properly so that she could enjoy the show traction-free? & maybe Kelton's away for summer vacation... Idunno, just thots.

I'm really curious to see how li'l Maryanne feels about this stranger in the house too.

It's easy to envision V as inspration of, at least partly, Birthday Masscre, cause well, it most likly is. Would we even believe Aaron if he said otherwise?

If I would would envision her myself I would probably add a bit more metal and growl to the sound. (who doesn't like a girl when she growls?)

I can't really think if any good examples right now. For some reason though, the first that slips my mind is that I really like the female vocie in this song by Rammstien, maybe if she did the whole song.



But I'm kinda over Rammstien... So maybe add a bit of Chiasm?
