they're ok. My favorite song of theirs was actually Got The Life. Wonder if I've still got that somewhere around here... nope

Their first three albums were pretty good, with Issues they started sounding repetitive and I feel it's just been downward from there on. My favorite song therefore isn't in that selection, I'd say it's "Chi" from Life is Peachy.

beating me down

BEATING ME BEATING ME

DOWN

INTO THE GROUND

SCREAMING SOME SOUND

BEATING ME, BEATING ME

Man, I can still hear it now, crystal clear.
Edit: O h shit, now I'm listening to it I MISS THISS

Suddenly I am reminded...
I remember back when Korn and co. were my MO, I was also high on Sonic Adventure and had assigned Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles favorite bands based on how I judged their respective personality, "aura" even..

I forget what Sonic was, but Tails was The Offspring. Kncukles was Korn.
Hoo hoo

I can't remember Sonic - WHY
Was Sonic Offspring, was one of them Kid Rock?

Sonic should have listened to speed metal.

Can we not talk about Sonic?

I love how "Skulls rock" decided to ignore most of Korns better albums and stuck songs from the last few in their poll.

It implies things, but I'm not going to get into it, no snobbery from me today!

I'm disappointed there wasn't a "Korn, no thanks. Peas for me" option.

Hrm.

No UN-FANS allowed, Subs! Git!

Teim wrote:Subey here doesn't seem to understand the finer points of nu metal

Edit: Is Korn really considered nu-metal? Guess I just don't know what that is. I always thought "rock" was appropriate enough. I lob it into the musics of past that I had to stretch my emotion out and around to be able to relate to, I think it wore me out in retrospect. Ultimately I just found the drama attractive rather than any message I could use personally. Still I'll always have that certain attachment :3

So I don't understand when you say their old stuff was better than new, I think I started with the 'Issues' album and am not sure where that falls under.
