{I'm sorry, I just can't wait to add this band to the forum!

For those of you who haven't heard of 'The Noisettes', here's the skinny... Erm, I uh, actually I don't have much of a backstory on them other than Shingai Shoniwa (vox, bass) is an amazing frontwoman. But that isn't to say that the rest of the band aren't worth their perspective salt. Each of them are indeed as vital as the next.
The main thing that drew me towards this band is a bit deeper than the catchy melodies and candyesque hooks. They have this certain charm, a sort of timid arrogance at one point and a brash humility at another. This is definitely a band that stands apart from the norm. Their sound is unyielding, and unsafe at times. And who's to say, that's a bad thing?

Hope you all enjoy

Some whacked-out TMBG stuff from The Earlier Years. Yes, I realize that's redundant.

Currently: "Kittens Intro":

John (or maybe John) wrote:
"There's something coming...
There's a new car on the horizon...
It's coming very slowly...
It makes a noise...
It has KITTENS painted all over it...
With a NEW KIND OF FUR!
Cleaner, but with a unique smell.

"Yet, one of these kittens is not prepared to have a good time...
It stands alone. Away from the crowd.

"It's YOUR kind of kitten.

"Now, the time has come - to climb into that car, and to shake the paw of destiny."
