Not counting low-budget or obvious choices.

1. Small time crooks. Bank robbery front operation turns into a successful factory which turns into a romantic subplot. Meanwhile the ads portray solely the bank robbery aspect, which never happens. We walked out half-way.

2. The Matrix 2. Yes, that's the real title, but I don't care. It was bad. I wish I could erase the memory of it from my mind.

3. Hobgoblins.

4. Baby geniuses.

Movies that were better then expected:

1. Time Chasers.
2. Clonus (aka Parts: The Clonus Horror).
3. I Accuse My Parents.

That one was a real shame too. Putting aside the bigger issue of completely and utterly failing to deliver on what should, by all rights, have been a pretty mind-blowing story arc, the horrific BADNESS of that movie even overwhelms the memory of its own action sequences, which are really pretty awesome.

I mean, who wouldn't want to watch that freeway fight over a few times? But man, the whole softcore-music-video sequence was just plain so stomach-turning that "the good part" ended up blocked from my memory for several years afterward!

Not to mention losing any interest whatsoever in watching part 3, but on finally seeing it eventually I concluded I hadn't really missed much. Hell, Animatrix was better than both of them combined, & it was at best "interesting in an artsy sort of way".
