There's a duel update for the Demo and Soldier, and they made it into a war. Soldier being my favorite class, my loyalty is obvious. They had a propaganda poster contest - which I entered! Yeys!

Supposedly they became friends, which is a nono, so I question the integrity of a warrior who can wield explosives but chooses to hide.

Bought Dragon age today and have played it a few good hours. Really like it so far. All the trailers seemed so silly but I'm glad the game did not follow them.

I have been playing this game religiously. I LOVE it.

It's been a long time since I was able to get into a game to this extent.
The characters seem real, I really like the story, and the game-play is really smooth and well-paced.

The only real complaints that I have are that sometimes your character will walk in a random direction,
sometimes during battle and it can be very annoying or get you killed. They need to patch that.
The other thing is that Dwarven arms are SO LONG..
They look like Gorillas!

Also, putting excessively-bright makeup on your character will make
for some hearty laughs later in the game.

Still have yet to finish it..I'm in Orzammar right now trying to recruit the Dwarves.
My love-interest is Allistar since he says some of the most awesomely hysterical things..
for example: Once I was asking him about his "experience" (wink-wink-nudge-nudge) since
he was raised in the chantry and his reply was VERY funny..

"experience with what?" and he proceeded to list off various things including "licking a pole in winter?"
Then he said "I dunno- have you ever licked a pole in winter??"
I about died.

It's also the only game I've ever played that has actually made me feel morally/politically conflicted!

That made me crack up! XD I actually thought Alistair was flirting with me after that conversation, and I was a guy. So after that I spent all my time trying to pursue a gay relationship with him only to find you can't. I was so exasperated, I re-rolled another Dwarf Noble (first/only char) just so we could be together

Supposedly Alistair was based off of Xander from Buffy, which came together for me because they're both my favorite characters of their respective canons x3

Though I warmed up a great deal to Sten after I learned he loved cookies. I was about to ban him forever for pissing me off right before he started saying and doing a lot of very endearing things.

I still haven't finished it (which is fine, because I wanted a huge game that would last forever)

Allistair is one of my fave characters/sidekicks in a game in recent memory.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than that Karth bastard from KotOR.

I know not of this Karth...I haven't played KotOR cause I (bwanana)
am not as interested in Star Wars as most everyone else seems to be..
Honestly, the KotOR games just seemed so dull to me..
The voice acting always seemed very dry, and the repetition of conversations
and facial/head expressions got on my last nerve. "Moka choka baka"
Not to mention the battle-system..
but I digress, I'm sure if there was a Star Trek (esp next-gen.)
game of the same quality/type- I'd prolly play the hell out of it. ;

but yea- Allistair is very awesome, but also very straight.
and so is Morrigan apparently.
I'm glad I went for Allistair, cause my next choice was Morrigan..
and I would not have been happy had I realized all-to-late that she was super-straight.

I am playing a castless dwarf, which has made things very interesting for me..lol

Yea- I don't like Sten much but I know he likes cookies and becomes a big softie
later so I want to bring him along..
I probably will now that one of my quests is over that I needed someone else in my party for..
Though I miss the Morrigan, Wynne, and Allistair team. lol
I played most of the game with those three. They're awesome together.

hmmm...what else?...ah! I wish the sex-scene would play every time..
yanno...giving the option to skip it.
OOOoooooo what if the scene had different versions??
but that'd be too distracting...I'd end up playing through again and again
just to see everyones different sex-scenes. haha!

Speaking of perversion!! Anyone played the Bayonetta demo yet??
