I propose we share with each other the little critters that make our hearts melt.
Or even animals that make us say "ooooo. wow."
whatever. they dun gotta be fluffy and adorable.

Imma start out with these furry little things called 'sugar glyders', that are also in the "What's wrong with you?" thread:

Milo is like our son, especially since I don't plan on having any kids.
he is a very large cat (part Main coon http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maine_Coon )
you can kind of get an idea by the last photo...kinda..
that's my fiance in the photo with him..he's 6'4" and weighs over 300lbs.
last time we weighed Milo (which was around 2 years ago) he was 12 lbs
he is 3 years old. and Main coons can usually grow until around 7-8 years of age!

My male cat named Sophie. Basically we were told he was female by the people that gave him to us, nobody checked, and by the time we brought him to the vet and found out otherwise he was already responding to his name.



He looks evil in this one, but he was actually just meowing at me:

SQUEEK: your kitty is GORGEOUS! yeah, i heard that maine coons were one of (if not THE) largest breed of domestic kitty and they can get pretty darn HUGE. your fiance is 6'4" and about 300 pounds, eh? finally someone i could go toe-to-toe with in a boxing match and not feel bad about my giagantic size advantage, but maybe i'm just used to all of the incredibly short frenchmen around where i live.... large linebacker sized fellows such as we could be very common in your whereabouts.

CANDY: your kitty appears to be a tabby (by the tell tale "M" on the forehead) but has the pleasant colourings of a persian or siamese. i always did like that "coffee" colour on kitties. siameses used to be one of the prettiest breeds... until they started inbreeding them to make their faces look at pointed and ugly.

He's a Himalayan. When he was a kitten, he looked like a purebred. And when he was a kitten, he was also cuddly and cute and didn't despise small children.

But, yeah, I think his mum or dad probably had some fun with a tabby at some point >>;

yea...he's definitely not full Himalayan there..
I could tell he had some sort of Persian or Himalayan
in him by the coat, however..

but yea....those tufts at the end of his ears are
definitely a Main Coon trait..

does he have a lot of hair between his toes?
is he pretty large?

I got a bird in August! He's a whitefaced pied cockatiel, and his name is Valentine. He's so snuggly, and I adore him!
My roommate has snakes, so I couldn't get a rat, (I really wanted a warm cuddly pet.)
Sooo I decided to get a bird instead! And he turned out to be perfect for me.

He also rilly rilly loves sitting on my tankard.

Here's Brandy, my brother from a doggy mother. He's part Jack Russel and part Pomeranian. We got him after my last dog Jack bit some kid (jack was an awesome purebred Westie and was insane ) He spent his first night here in my room.

He's a bit of a baby at times.

Same here. I need a kitty to keep me company during the "bleh" times of my last year of high school. Hopefully I could convince my dad today to allow me to one(is allergics).

y'know, you can buy spray stuff for cats so they won't get their dander up and cause allergies.... i've heard it works pretty good

my sister is a cat-loving allergic tho & gets by w/o it. but then she's more or less dependant on her allergy meds pretty much to live, so maybe that takes care of it.

i happen to own The Prince Of All Cats. he's random-bred but i saw a french birman running around that i'm pretty sure was his daddy, he's got the exact build & fur type & even took 4 years to reach full size, which is normal for them. but mine is even more gorgeous because he's pure *silver*. and i gotta tell you, there's nothing like a long-haired silver cat that *never* needs brushed, has a face shaped like a classic siamese, and feels *exactly* like silk when petted. i'll try to get a pic, but he's notoriously camera-shy.

& i likey cockatiels too! my uncle has one named "bird", i taught him to whistle darth vader's theme.
