It is done.
Issue four, that is. And just under the wire (well... a little beyond the wire, actually, but one can buy favors with ribbon candy, y'know) for a San Diego Comicon debut. But you, you lucky internet-enabled scenesters you, get a special preview right now! here, here, and here, Consider it your prize for waiting TWO MONTHS since my last update (god, i suck. i really, really suck). Thanks so much for the patience!
Anyway, i'll post again in a bit, but right now i think to nap about four days. In the meantime, why not amuse yourself with these:
1) Have you bought the NEW MORRISSEY ALBUM yet? Apparently a lot of you have, 'cause it was #11 in the Billboard charts a couple weeks ago (Whoopee!). If you're one of the pitiful few who have yet to drink in its sultry goodness, might i just point out one of the tracks is entitled... "I Have Forgiven Jesus"? Come on, isn't that reason enough to buy right there? Amazon awaits, kids...
2) Today i found a wonderful Neil Gaiman quote tucked back a few entries in his blog: "Back when I was writing Sandman monthly I came up with a definition of story that satisfied me. A story, I decided, is anything that keeps the people reading turning the pages, and doesn't leave them feeling cheated at the end. Everything else was up for grabs." If only everyone in the entertainment world was so enlightened...
3) twinkle twinkle little star...
And now that i've mentioned Morrissey and Neil Gaiman in the same update, i think i've more than made my goth quota for the day, and i may finally hit the hay...
later!
