Posting after three years of lurking

Postby Alluvial » Thu Oct 22, 2009 4:47 pm

So uhhh yeah. Howdy. :)

I've been following Serenity Rose since I spotted the first monthly issue on the shelf at the friendly local comic book store. Boy howdy, did I love me some ess rose. I'm an art major and a freelance illustrator (read: not a very good one, I'd rather be tattooing than painting), and I like video games. Basically, I'm probably a lot like most other people who follow ess rose.

Sometimes I draw things that don't suck. You can feel free to look at them:

I won't be offended if you don't, though.

Also, I sent in the question about the angsty teen sibling. I try the Cage, but it didn't help. It was a noble effort, Vicious. Noble indeed.

Ayup. I like X-Men, though I'll be honest... there's a LOT that I don't know about them. I'm kind of a complete and utter dork, and I roleplay online in a text-based Marvel fan community. Most of the Marvel stuff you see me draw is OC goodness. Lots of my lionfish mutant. Our symbiote invasion arc brought some fun sketches that never got scanned. (I should do that... HMMM...)

Anywho, thanks for the warm welcome. :)

I look forward to chatting/exchanging art, music, etc. with y'all.

OCs are fun, aint they?

feel free to start up an art thread if you wanna show off right here! many of us have are own.

also, if you would like to exchange musics ONLINE you outta check out these:
http://drop.io/serenityrose#
http://drop.io/aquatroll

the drop.io site is almost like FTP account storage where anyone can upload ANYTHING. we've decided to use it to exchange musics! you can listen to the tunes streaming from the site OR download them. YOU can upload stuff too if you like! it's no harder than sending an e-mail attachment. this is fun also :-D

Lol, Rob Liefeld lives in Orange County, and ordered a drink from my friend at Starbucks. She wanted to make a comment about pouches and feet, but abstained. 8-)
