WOWIEE!!
Your sis has some MAD SKILLZ fo sho!
That print is stunning...it really is. and for me it really speaks to my heart, as cheesy as this may sound,
as an animal-rights supporter/ animal-lover and a vegetarian.
It's such a powerful scene and yet remains so simple and innocent..
I think those make the best pieces of art, though..
It seems like she really poured her everything into that piece, it does.
The rest of her work is equally as stunning...
I love those textiles...seeing textile work in real-life is something that just blows me away..
I'd love to learn to use a sewing machine well, so that I can do really nice textiles...
though many textile-artists just hand-sew their projects..Does she?
my hands are horrible for that, unfortunately..
Has she ever exhibited any of her work in a gallery?
or done any work for books? If not, she definitely should.
As for the whole wanting a print thing...
I can understand why you'd want one- as I'm sure had I commissioned him
only to discover that there was now a fresh, shiny, colored version of it floating aboot,
I'd prolly have conflicted feelings about it too..
I might have even asked him for a file of it so's I could print it myself :);
but yea, just as
The Flying Dracula Hair said,
we're here to support Mr. A..
you've got the shiniest one of them all, even with it being b&w!
Rikki has rights to it, as well.....so, it seems to me like the whole selling prints
thing is more for them than it is for Mr. A, anyways...
