it is yet another bit of AGENTS OF THE ENDTIMES ( http://www.thevortexmachines.com/ ) fan arts.
this here is Starla and Fubar being all snuggly on account of when they used to date. i did this one up in a different-ish style than i usually do, so to me this looks like if Agents of the Endtimes were a teen romantic comedy or something. my only issue with it is that i keep on thinking starla's left shoulder seems dislocated, but other than that, i think it's kinda cute.

I like the way you draw hair, Sir William of Blood. It's super shiny.
Though i think if it's going to have that direct of lighting and everything, you might want to consider
upping the contrast of the shadow-areas...just to even out the extremeness of the highlights, yanoo?
That might help give the figures a little more substance.
I also like the way you draw mouths..I often draw top-lips black, as well...mostly on girls, it seems..
I think your proportions and anatomy have gotten so much better! Great stuff! Can't wait to see more!

she is desirae passions, the loving aunt to the main characters. she is also an adult film actress. one of my biggest problems when wanting to draw fan art is what to have the character DO in the image. i thought since desirae was in films, it would be neat to make a poster for one of her movies. the movie is something that i completely made up and was not in the comic or anything. howeverk, when i sent the fan art to the comic's creator, he was so pleased that he wrote a portion of his next blog IN CHARACTER AS DESIRAE so she could comment about making "coed beach party!" which i thought was pretty cool.

and then i digitally painted it



i kinda copied from a photo that i like. i say "kinda" because i did change it very slightly to what i wanted to draw. but this is why i think the colouring came out so well: because it was based off a photo. if i colour from my mind's eye alone it's not so good in the end. i added some monochromatic "noise" over the image when i finished because i wanted to give it an old film look to it.
