My first guess would be licorice.
Heroin gum. Would that be like [urban_legend]Strawberry Quick[/urban_legend] crystal meth?

A friend of mine found Black Black when ordering Pocky for us once. There is no way I will ever eat black black.

Very nice find indeed, I actually had gum like this. It wasn't this, but nevertheless it was great gum. (And note, I dislike gum.)

I love anything coffee, coffee related, even coffee color. I just like it, but I don't want to know the facts about coffee like those old guys during tours talk about with their overly huge stashs. No I say, I don't want to know it was actually a bean or whatever, how many people died in the process to give me one cup. I just drink the brown-ish sludge, 'cuz it's good, and gets me through the day with what bit of sanity I can scrape from day-to-day life.

I wasn't trying to offend you, "Pig-weed" but if you took it that way (for whatever reason, I honestly don't see how you could) I'm sorry?

Fear not, gentle Panda! Our friend Pigweed is merely using the "proactive defensive passive-aggression" technique. It's Sera-approved, donchanow!

I don't think Sera would attack someone so openly, I can see her doing everything except the "Coffee snobs" part. That was just rude, no defensive device for anything.

On the contrary! Notice no names were named - "coffee snobs" was clearly meant as a "straw man". Saying rude things about unpleasant people who *aren't present" is quite acceptable, especially given the well-known fact that "hypocrisy does not invalidate a point" - S. Rose.

besides, "Don't go slagging off hate!"

Nobody likes snobs! We're quite snobbish about our dislike of snobs here.

We also like giving names to our pains. ;)

(Trust me, Pigweed is a very nice and sweet person. I promise, she meant no harm.)

Well given the fact that the topic wasn't very active, then I post about my insatiable love for the brown sludge (coffee) followed by that remark, I would only feel it's natural to find that directed towards me.

If it were a day or two more after my post, then sure, I would have accepted that given it be just someone lookin' at it like an everyday thing.

Why thank you, Alphatroll. Yes, I meant no harm nor insult. It was that 'straw man" thingy. Kinda like Sera's "Height: 4'10" (shut up) Weight: 80 lbs (shut up)." Hey, I knew someone who loves coffee...strictly from Dunkin' Donuts.

I realized where the "shut up" came from, just purely saying "shut up" means that you don't want to hear anyone's opinion on that. While "shut up [in this case, coffee snobs]" is mostly an attack, rather then a defensive phrase, ya' see because you're making your shut up not to the general anyone, but rather a certain group that you think will hurt you based on a theory is judgmental. So if you instead target everyone, then sure that would'ah been alright. But when you said "coffee snobs" (So justly said by the way), I felt attacked, because of the part where I said I loved coffee (because I do!).

That's where my sorta point-of-view is comin' from, ya' see?
